CLIENT: Brew + Bake

PROJECT LOCATION: Preston | North West

Brew + Bake were moving to a new, larger premises from their original site at Preston market. The new site is in partnership with real estate developers, The Heaton Group.


The Management for the project used to use Brew + Bake's facilities for their lunch. They discussed the opportunity for them to move from their premises at the market to the new ground floor area of their development at Bishopgate Gardens. The luxury development features 130 residential apartments with communal areas for residents to work and socialise. The development is situated opposite the bus station so also benefits from a high volume of passing trade. 

The owner at Brew + Bake contacted Vision Commercial Kitchens to help with a new opportunity of moving to the new development. They knew what they wanted to achieve but required Vision's expertise in advising on the kitchen design and the need to increase their refrigerated and freezer storage to cope with the increase in trade. 



Vision provided the design, supply and installation for Brew + Bake's new facilities. The design was based around the menu and the amount of covers for the venue and included a bespoke extract system which had to be signed off by the architect and fire officer as the kitchen is situated on the ground floor of a residential building. The venue offers a varied menu from brunch, right through to evening meals and sharing platters, using locally sourced suppliers and artisan bread. 

Since opening, the site has started to receive excellent reviews for their food as well as the finished look front of house, which has been popular with students and local business people, as they also have a co-working space within the coffee shop.
