Leon Restaurants secure rights to open at Heathrow Terminal 2

Leon Restaurants is set to embark on its largest kitchen fit-out yet after securing the rights to open a 130-cover restaurant at Heathrow Terminal 2.

Vision Commercial Kitchens will manage the fit out of the kitchen.

The restaurant, which will span 2,600 square feet and open next Spring, follows an extension of the healthy fast food chain's partnership with HMSHost, a subsidiary of the Autogrill Group.

This will be the second and largest airport opening for HMSHost and Leon Restaurants, and follows the successful launch of their restaurants in London's newly renovated Kings Cross station and at Heathrow Terminal 3.

This latest opening will take Leon's total estate to 14 and is seen as an important coup for a brand that was founded on the premise of offering customers a healthier, tastier alternative to traditional fast food.

Henry Dimbleby, Leon's co-founder and CEO, added: 'When we started Leon we wanted to revolutionise fast food. We wanted to make it easy for everyone to eat good food. We are thrilled that Leon is the only fast food restaurant in T2 and occupies such a prominent spot. It proves that it is possible not only to serve fast food that tastes good and does you good, but to do it at a price that is accessible to everyone.'

This development comes as Leon announce they are set to double their number of outlets from 12 to 24 by the end of next year.

Vision are proud to support Leon's growing ambitions and have done so since their inception 10 years ago.
