Inspired by 1830s beer houses, Pint Shop's concept combines traditional core values with a modern menu built around classic cooking methods. Vision was appointed by the founders, who had worked with us previously, to deliver a kitchen redesign that matched the concept and worked within the constraints of the building and services. Brief & objectives

Constraints & specification

The site had limited electric and gas supply, requiring a careful balance across appliances. All equipment was checked against M&E limits and aligned with the client's traditional cooking methods. Vision supplied energy-efficient equipment and sourced bespoke items, notably a combined Robata grill with a rotisserie on the reverse side. With the kitchen on the first floor and access via a narrow, angled staircase, equipment was selected or manufactured with restricted access in mind.

Delivery, training & outcomes

Installation was phased alongside the main contractor, with key dates met despite access constraints. Full client training was delivered, including specialist sessions for new-to-market and bespoke equipment. The redesign matched the concept, proved viable within the space, and overcame both access and M&E constraints — completed in line with the client's expectations.

Testimonial

"Vision Commercial Kitchens have been nothing but professional in their approach to the delivery of the kitchen facilities at Pint Shop. Vision are a refreshing company to work with due to their 'can do', proactive and innovative attitude. There is never a problem, only solutions. Vision worked in extremely tough site conditions with restricted access to our first floor kitchen. Health and Safety had to be managed extremely carefully and Vision did this whilst upholding their commitments and meeting the strict deadline that had been set."
