THE HEYFORD HOTEL
The Heyford Hotel is situated within the Heyford Park development in Oxfordshire. The development is situated on a former US and RAF airbase which is being transformed by Dorchester Regeneration. The development provides houses, a village green, leisure and retail facilities as well as a new free school.
OUR WORK
The Heyford is a luxurious boutique hotel which includes a two-lane bowling alley as well as a 'canopy link' which is a space for community use, for both residents and visitors.
Vision Commercial Kitchens designed the kitchen for the hotel which serves a restaurant area as well as being used for functions and events.
Vision also provided the back of bar equipment for the bar area and deli area. The deli area, which is located in the 'canopy link' features a bar as well as cooking facilities, including a pizza oven and toaster.
The project took place throughout the lockdown period, and so it was delayed several times. However, the final result was well worth the wait and provides a fantastic facility for Heyford Park.

"We started working with Vision Commercial Kitchens in 2018 on this project that has gone through a range of changes over the years we have been working on it. The project was completed early 2022 after some delays due to the Covid pandemic and logistic issues.
The design team at Vision Commercial Kitchens were always very helpful and obliging with all the changes that we asked them to look at. We received the best possible direction and advice from the team at Vision, as we progressed with the project.
They were happy and willing to put every effort in to agreeing the revisions required and worked diligently to provide us with the best level of service through all our dealings with them.
When the order was placed and works commenced on site, they were always on hand to check the arrangements and adjust where appropriate. The project was partially in an existing building which we were refurbishing. The rest of the project was in a new building albeit that it was all part of the one project.
We have created a fully operational kitchen to provide food to a total of 350 covers, along with a Bar area that was designed in accordance with our interior designers. Also, we have a very bespoke arrangement that created a Bar/ Cafe/ Deli in a unique setting - a steel framed structure with glass walls to the front and rear facades and three vaulted roof sections with an industrial looking steel structure.
During the installation process we looked at making some last-minute changes to provide different aspects of the facilities that Vision were able to accommodate in their process.
They also worked with the Hotel staff on the operational side, to provide small equipment and operational equipment without any problem or issues.
Looking back at the whole process that we undertook with Vision Commercial Kitchens they were on hand to provide guidance and solutions whenever we requested their help. It was a very easy process to obtain re-designs and information wherever we needed their help, and they made the whole process very easy to navigate and accomplish our goal."
