wombourne is a site by Wrekin Housing Trust and Vision worked with the Main Contractors Willmott Dixon on the development of the catering facilities. Vision were given the brief of a flexible and robust kitchen for the community cafe. The cafe would be intended for use by the residents as well as passing trade.

In terms of the kitchen, the operators wanted a traditional style cooking process including a six burner range, fryer and grills. The emphasis for the project was on providing an aesthetically pleasing, attractive server counter which would be used to display and serve sandwiches and cakes within a bistro style setting.

The installation of the kitchen and the servery took place within the required time and the project was completed well in advance of the client handover. Vision also provided staff training to the end user.

Vision's high standard of work within this project has led to being asked to design, price and install two further schemes for the same housing association.

This site was also used to introduce the ceda Grand Prix judges to the high standard of work Vision have undertaken alongside Willmott Dixon, as part of the 2015 ceda Grand Prix awards.
