The Creamery is a trackside restaurant and working creamery at The Newt in Somerset, South West, celebrating produce made on the estate, including yoghurt made with fresh milk from their herd of water buffalo. Vision Commercial Kitchens designed, supplied and installed the new kitchen, creating a guest‑facing food experience that reflects local heritage.

Restaurant meets working creamery

The aim was to deliver a contemporary dining offer alongside active creamery production. Vision’s scope covered full kitchen design, supply and installation, aligning the layout and detailing to the concept and service style.

Craft and finish, curated to the last detail

Every manufacturer was carefully selected so each component contributed to the desired effect. From heat lamps chosen for performance and visual appeal to bespoke servery counters, the specification was curated for quality and impact. High-grade stainless steel, welded, polished and formed into sleek, curved designs, elevated the overall aesthetic.

Sustainability built in

Sustainability was prioritised throughout. The extraction system was chosen for its environmental performance, opting for Cyclone Extractions, known for eco-friendly operation, supporting efficiency without compromising air quality or comfort.

Sensitive delivery in a listed building

Working within an old listed building required a considerate approach. The final layout integrates with the existing structure, delivering a compliant, efficient back-of-house that supports the front-of-house experience.
