Kidspace is an indoor adventure playground in Romford whose aim is to give children and parents a place to enjoy, play and learn in a safe, healthy environment. Following a major restaurant update that doubled the size of the eatery and introduced a menu of healthy, good-value dishes served at fast-service speed, Vision delivered a complete kitchen refit and new front-of-house equipment to match the concept. Context & objectives
Kidspace had expanded its restaurant footprint and refreshed the offer around nutritious, great-value options designed to be served quickly. The kitchen and counter provision needed to support higher throughput while staying true to the brand's bright, family-friendly environment. Vision was appointed to deliver a complete back-of-house refit and to supply front-of-house equipment that complemented the venue's new, brightly coloured counter.
Design & delivery
The refit was completed while the site remained open, so planning and installation were sequenced around trading hours and access constraints. Vision replaced the back-of-house equipment to suit the updated menu and service model, and supplied the front-of-house items that sit alongside the new counter. Despite a tight programme, all works were completed to the agreed deadline.
Outcome
The upgraded kitchen and supporting equipment now underpin the expanded restaurant, enabling Kidspace to serve a healthier, fast-moving menu in a space that reflects the venue's lively, family-focused identity.
