Vision Shortlisted for Distributor of the Year (National and Project Management)

We're pleased to share that Vision Commercial Kitchens has been shortlisted for Distributor of the Year, National, and Distributor of the Year, Project Management, at the Catering Insight Awards 2026.

It's been a busy year. We completed almost 70 installations across the UK, from Guernsey and the South West to Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands. We also added two project managers, put new leadership into our service and maintenance team, and completed cedaBIM Gold accreditation across our whole design team.

The National nomination reflects the reach of that work and the relationships behind it. Dunluce Lodge, a new five-star hotel beside Royal Portrush Golf Club, was delivered with local partner Stephens Catering while Vision kept design and technical control. Long-standing clients including Fortnum & Mason and BAM, each around 15 years, along with Village Hotels, Willmott Dixon and Colicci Cafes, continue to bring us repeat work.

The Project Management nomination reflects how those projects were run. Cambridge House and 180 The Thames, two large central London developments, each have multiple project managers. On Love Shack in Guernsey, the team resolved logistical and technical problems on site without delaying handover. At Six Senses at The Whiteley, a package worth over £2 million, the contract carried across to the new delivery entity without restart or remobilisation fees after the main contractor went into administration.

Winners will be announced on Thursday 26 November at The Tower Hotel, London. We'd like to thank our team, clients and partners, and congratulate every other finalist. Below you'll find a selection of recent projects from the past year.

Dunluce Lodge, Portrush

Valor Hospitality

£450k

Vision delivered the commercial kitchen for Dunluce Lodge, a new five-star hotel overlooking Royal Portrush Golf Club in Northern Ireland. Northern Ireland based Stephens Catering worked locally while Vision kept design and technical control centrally. When the extraction system underperformed at commissioning, the team stepped in to diagnose and resolve it before opening.

Love Shack, Guernsey

Silvester Group

£90k

A three-person Vision team (project manager, fabrication and installation) fitted out the full kitchen, with equipment shipped by specialist logistics to a harbourside site reached through a 680mm-wide access corridor. The scope covered the full cookline, front counter finishing and service zones, and the rear warewashing area. Three problems came up on site, including plumbing outside the original scope and a resin fixing issue affecting every drilled fixing point. The team resolved all three without delaying handover.

Six Senses at The Whiteley, London

£2m+

A package covering the basement production kitchen, ground and first floor show kitchens, several bar areas and back-of-house service areas. The contract carried across to the new delivery entity after the main contractor went into administration, without restart or remobilisation fees. The client's testimonial credits Vision's "clear and professional approach".

Cambridge House and 180 The Thames, London

Two separate, ongoing central London developments, a hotel and a mixed-use scheme. Given their size and complexity, each has multiple Vision project managers, so neither client nor programme loses momentum.
