The ride is being completed in memory of Melissa Bristow, who sadly passed away in December 2025 at the age of 33 following her battle with Triple Negative Breast Cancer.

The Miles for Melissa team is raising money for two important charities: Breast Cancer Now and Macmillan Cancer Support. Breast Cancer Now is supporting much-needed research into Triple Negative Breast Cancer, while Macmillan Cancer Support provided care and support to Melissa and her family.

Phil will be joining the team for the ride from Manchester to Blackpool, helping to raise awareness and funds for two causes that are extremely close to the team’s hearts.

Everyone at Vision Commercial Kitchens is proud to support Phil as he takes on the challenge, and we wish him and the rest of the Miles for Melissa team the very best of luck.
